Installation Instructions
Step 1: Download and install Server Part
The software for the server is Microsoft SQL Server Express 2005.

1. Under the "Installation Files" heading, download the server installation file.
2. Once it has been downloaded, launch the file and then follow the on screen installation steps. For more information on the server installation, refer to the minimum system requirements and installation instructions PDF document. You may download this document on this page under the "Documentation" heading.

1. Under the "Installation Files" heading download the file for installing the client software.
2. Once the downloaded file is installed on your computer, decompress it with a utility program such as Winzip, 7zip or Winrar. Among the extracted files, launch the setup.exe file and then follow the on screen installation steps. For more information on the client installation part, refer to the minimum system requirements and installation instructions PDF document. You may download this document on this page under the "Documentation" heading.

1. Open the Signs Evolution software by clicking on the software icon of your desktop or in the Start menu on Programs / Soft 3D / Signs Evolution Demo.
2. In the connexion screen, according to the server configurations that you have defined, enter the serverís name, as well as the entering data then click on the "Refresh" button. Should you make a regular installation, leave "localhost/SQLEXPRESS" in the "Server" field then enable the "Authentification Windowsª box. Then, click on the "Connect" button located at the lower left corner of the screen.
3. Answer Yes to the question: "The database does not exist; do you want to create it?"
4. Follow the different steps in the Importation Wizard screen. Once in the screen which asks you to find the unobtainable package, click on the "Browse" button and navigate through the files that you have extracted to find the Demo.signspak file. Select this file then click on "Open". Continue with the installation steps.
5. Once the importation of the Demo ís data has been completed, click on the "Finish" button. The software will open by itself and you may then explore the software.

List of downloadable files
The files under the first heading are essential for installing the Demo. The files under the next two headings are optional. You will find in them additional information regarding the software, software to better manage your database and certain components necessary for installing the software should they not be present in your operating system.
